Dr. Mason can help you take the first step toward getting the radiant smile you deserve with Invisalign® clear aligners.
Invisalign® uses the most innovative technology available in dentistry today, employing a series of comfortable, removable, transparent aligners to gradually straighten your teeth.
Here’s how it works:
- Before treatment begins, Dr. Mason maps out a detailed, individualized treatment plan for each patient. Part of that plan includes a digital 3D representation of how your teeth will move during treatment.
- During treatment, Invisalign® works seamlessly with your lifestyle. For best results, aligners should be worn 22 hours every day. However, they are virtually invisible, so most people won’t notice you are wearing them.
The Invisalign® aligners also are removable, so you can eat and drink normally. You also remove them to brush and floss, helping you maintain fresh breath and good oral hygiene. Because there are no metal brackets or wires, you will experience less mouth irritation with Invisalign® than with traditional braces.
You will see Dr. Mason about once every 4 to 6 weeks during treatment, but the appointments are of short duration because there are no metal or wire adjustments.
Most adults wear the aligners about 12 months, but treatment time for teenage patients varies. After treatment, most doctors recommend using a retainer after treatment. Every case is different, though, so talk to Dr. Mason about your specific situation.
Propel Accelerates the Invisalign® Process
Dr. Mason also offers Propel, an affordable option that can accelerate your Invisalign results. Propel accelerates tooth movement and is often covered by dental insurance. Teeth move faster and treatment time is decreased. Ask Dr. Mason if Propel is right for you.
If you want to fix misaligned teeth, but are put off by the thought of wearing traditional metal braces, call our office today to schedule your complimentary Invisalign® consultation.
