Dr. Chelsea Mason is a general and family dentist practicing in Bay City, Michigan. Born and raised in Saginaw into a family of dentists, her father Dr. William E. Mason is a periodontist, her stepfather and stepbrother are endodontists, and her sister is also a periodontist. Dr. Mason was inspired early to pursue dentistry.
She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Albion College with a B.A. in Biology in 2008. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2013. During dental school, she received recognition for excellence in patient care and won the American Academy of Periodontology Dental Student Award.
Dr. Mason practiced in Saginaw alongside her uncle, Dr. Michael A. Davis, for over two years after graduation. She then established her own practice in Bay City. Her services include comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages, cleanings, restorative work, extractions, Invisalign, cosmetic treatments, periodontal treatment, dental implant restorations, and more. She also provides sedation and nitrous oxide gas options to help make care more comfortable for anxious patients.
Dr. Mason is a member of the Saginaw Valley District Dental Society, Michigan Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Her patient care philosophy emphasizes empathy, compassion, and making each patient feel comfortable, well-informed, and treated like family.
